Terms of Service

Effective October 24, 2026

These terms apply to your use of Notelet, a sticky notes app for Windows. By installing or using Notelet you agree to them.

Use of the app

Notelet is provided free of charge for personal and professional use. You may not use it for anything unlawful.

Your content

Your notes belong to you. Notelet stores them on your PC and, if you turn on sync, in your own Google Drive. The developer does not host, receive, or claim any rights to your notes. How the app handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Google services

Sync uses your Google account and Google Drive. Your use of those services is governed by Google's own terms and policies, and storage used by your notes counts toward your Google Drive quota.

No warranty

Notelet is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The app keeps local backups and is designed not to lose data, but you are responsible for keeping copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss of data, profits, or other damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, Notelet.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use Notelet after a change means you accept the updated terms.
